The Scout prefilter comes standard with every Stream and filters at 1 micron, capturing sediment and debris from natural water sources. It attaches to the inlet hose of Guzzle H2O Stream system. Either the Scout or the Guide should always be attached to the Stream when filtering from natural water sources.
To Clean the Scout:
Brush off debris by hand or hose off with fresh water. Unlike our carbon block filter cartridges, there is no suggested replacement schedule. Replace if it becomes damaged or increasingly difficult to clean.
