This module is Goose Gear Plate System compatible.

The new Goose Gear FJ Cruiser plate is in its second generation and is now designed to work with the FJ Cruiser Second Row Seat Delete Plates.

The original FJ Cruiser Plate has a different design and will not work with the new second row seat deletes. We have always taken extreme efforts to future proof our systems but on the FJ we did not execute as well as we would've liked. If you have a gen 1 unit and plan on updating to a second row seat delete contact us and we will offer you special pricing for the updated unit.

With the FJ Cruiser plate system you can now easily install and remove Goose Gear Modules with simple hand tools. This system requires the removal of the rear factory slide and carpet kit. Does not require cutting or drilling of any part of the vehicle. Once the plate is installed you now have a clean and flat surface perfect for mounting Goose Gear Modules or your own storage system and accessories. Extremely light weight for its strength, the weight of the plate is less than 39 pounds.

Due to the length of the FJ Cruiser, double drawer modules in 25" depth and side x side modules at 28" depth are the deepest that will fit onto the rear plate system.

If you install a tall cabinet, such as a double drawer cabinet at 22" height, IceBox or CampKitchen on the passenger side it must be installed into the inboard hole pattern which will only leave 19-3/16" available space next to that item. See the image below for more information and feel free to call for more details. Notice that our customer utilized the 3" space to the right of the CampKitchen to store his folding table. The double drawer to the left is a 19-3/16" wide version.

The Goose Gear Jeep JK 2 Door Plate System is now available for 2007-2017 models.

The Jeep Plate System features a Bullet Liner covered Baltic Birch plywood. This plate allows the user to easily install various Jeep Specific modules including single and double drawer systems as well as the ever famous Icebox module and the new CampKitchen 2.3 for Jeeps. The plate system also makes a great platform for securing your own storage or gear including dog crates, other fridge slide brands, etc. Due to the extra depth of the 2 door plate you can use the deeper modules such as the 36" deep Single Drawer Modules and the 28" deep Double Drawer Modules. You can also use the standard IceBox and CampKitchen units including the CampKitchen 2.2 for the National Luna Weekender 50/52.

There are two versions

1. The Subwoofer compatible version is only for 2015 and newer Jeeps with the subwoofer located in the floor of the Jeep. The subwoofer compatible version does not work with door side mounted subwoofers typically found in 2010-2014 model year Jeeps.

2. The access door version is designed for all JK model years that do not have the subwoofer located in the floor storage tub in the rear of the Jeep.

Installation requires the permanent removal of the plastic trim in the rear cargo area. For 2007-2010 Jeeps there is typically carpet around the wheel well area. In later model Jeeps 2011+ the carpet is not there and once the plastic trim is removed the exposed painted metal of the Jeep body will be visible.

Please note: The Goose Gear plate system for the 2007-2010 Jeep JK requires drilling and installation of threaded inserts into the vehicle floor. Due to the shear lack of anchor points in this year range we had to resort to having our customers drill into their rigs for the plate system to work properly. The plate system will ship with the threaded inserts as well as the tool to install them.

Installation of the plate requires the removal or the trimming of the quarter panel plastics. If you have a door side mounted subwoofer it will have to be relocated or removed for the plate system to fit into your vehicle, this option is typically found in 2010-2014 model years.

Goose Gear Jeep JKU Side Cubbies for 2007-2018 Jeep 2 door models.

The Jeep Plate System side cubbies feature a Bullet Line covered Baltic Birch plywood with storage cubbies in front of both roll bar locations in the rear cargo area. The cubbies serve as a great way to square up the rear cargo area and create additional lockable storage compartments. They are designed to work with the Goose Gear JK Plate.

There are two options for the roll bar surrounds. The first is a roll bar surround that requires the removal of the second row seat belts. The second is a roll bar surround that allows the second row seat belt hardware to remain attached to the factory roll bar.

On 2007-2010 models the rear door does not have a hinge like found on the later models. The hinge cutout is precut into the cubbies and on early model 2007-2010 models you will see the vehicle body through the precut hole.

The Goose Gear plate system for the Jeep JK is a direct bolt in unit and requires no drilling into your vehicle.

In 2011-2014 Jeeps with a SIDE MOUNTED subwoofer you will have to remove the side subwoofer as well as any plastic trim.

In 2015-2018 Jeeps with a Factory Subwoofer installed in the FLOOR of the Jeep you need to order the Factory Floor Subwoofer Option.

If you have or plan to add an Ursa Minor camper top to your Jeep, please note the following conditions:

1. IceBox with Top drawer will not clear the gas struts for the rear window. You can fit an IceBox or a CampKitchen without any issues.

2. 19" and 22" tall Double Drawer Modules will not clear the gas strut for the rear window. You can run a 15" tall double drawer module without clearance issues.

Both plates accept 19-3/16" wide standard modules like the IceBox, CampKitchen and drawer modules. On the opposite side of the 19-3/16" wide modules you can use the 20-3/16" module widths.

The Goose Gear Jeep JLU Plate System is now available for 2018+ Jeep JLU 4-door models.

The Jeep Plate System features a Bullet Liner covered Baltic Birch plywood. This plate allows the user to easily install various Jeep Specific modules including single and double drawer systems as well as the ever famous Icebox module and the new CampKitchen 2.3 for Jeeps. The plate system also makes a great platform for securing your own storage or gear including dog crates, other fridge slide brands, etc.

Installation requires the permanent removal of the carpet flooring between the two sides panels of factory plastic. Access to the factory jack will remain with a removable part.

You now have the option to choose which side of the vehicle the access door is installed into. The image shown reflects the access door shown on the passenger side.

Important Notes on Modules and Fridges

Due to the large factory subwoofer located on the passenger side of the vehicle and the shallow depth there are some notes to take into consideration when outfitting with refrigerators and or storage modules.

Subwoofer Version only

Since the factory subwoofer protrudes into the vehicle space quite a bit we have had to reduce the width of the modules offered to our standard 19-3/16" width and paired it with a new line of 18-3/16" wide modules. Which means you can install an IceBox or a Campkitchen in the 19-3/16" width and pair it with a single or double drawer module that is 18-3/16" wide.

NON-Subwoofer Version only

Since the Jeep JL Interior is quite a bit narrower we have had to reduce the width of the modules offered to our standard 19-3/16" width and paired it with a new line of 20-3/16" wide modules. Which means you can install an IceBox or a Campkitchen in the 19-3/16" width and pair it with a single or double drawer module that is 20-3/16" wide.

Fridge locations in the Jeep JL

The depth of the Jeep JL interior is shorter than the JK and therefore, if you are planning on using a CampKitchen or IceBox module you will only be able to fit an Engel 45, or the Dometic CXF40, ONLY if you remove the rear handles. On the passengers side there is more depth and you can fit the ARB 50 or similar sized fridges.

Overall drawer width is 34-3/8" for side x side modules. If you are using a CampKitchen or an IceBox Module you can also add a single or double drawer module that is 15-3/16" wide. CampKitchen and IceBox Modules can be place on drivers or passengers side with the drawer on either side.

Goose Gear Land Cruiser 100 Series Seat Delete / Sleeping Platform

With the 100 Series Low Profile sleeping platform you can now set up your rig for stealth camping and get comfortable. This version is the optimum height for utilizing your rig as a sleeping platform with the most headroom.

Available in 40% seat delete for the Passenger side and 60% for the drivers side you can run both and get a 100% seat delete. Both seat deletes require the 100 Series Plate System Version 2. 

The low profile sleep platform requires the removal of the second row seat backs and seat bottoms.

None of the sleep platforms require drilling or cutting and require simple hand tools for installation.

With the Goose Gear Land Cruiser Plate Systems you can now easily install and remove Goose Gear Modules with simple hand tools. This system requires the removal of the rear factory slide and carpet kit. Does not require cutting or drilling of any part of the vehicle. Once the plate is installed you now have a clean and flat surface perfect for mounting Goose Gear Modules or your own storage system and accessories.

This plate is designed for the complete removal of the vehicles third row of seats.

Extremely light weight for its strength, the weight of the plate runs approximately 45 pounds.

All plate models require the removal of the rear carpet, underlayment foam and some plastic trim pieces. 

Wider Modules for the 80 Series Version 2 Plate.

The version two plate features widened anchor points for Goose Gear Modules. This means you can run an IceBox or a CampKitchen and a single or double drawer that is up to 24-3/16" wide and for single drawers they are now offered in 36" and up to 40" length. If you choose to add standard profile sleep platforms you will need to select the 24-3/16" wide x 8" high x 40" deep modules or the Side x Side Module at 43-3/8" wide x 8" high x 40" deep.

With the 80 Series Low Profile sleeping platform you can now remove the second row seats and set up your rig for stealth camping and get comfortable. This version is the optimum height for utilizing your rig as a sleeping platform with the most headroom.

Available in 50% seat delete for the Passenger side and 50% for the drivers side you can run both and get a 100% seat delete. Both seat deletes require the 80 Series Plate System Version 2

The low profile sleep platform requires the removal of the second row seat backs and seat bottoms.

None of the sleep platforms require drilling or cutting and require simple hand tools for installation.

Goose Gear Land Cruiser 80 Series Standard Profile Second Row Seat Delete / Storage and Sleeping Platform

With the 80 Series standard profile sleeping platform you can now remove the second row seats and set up your rig for stealth camping and get comfortable. Below the seat deletes there is a cavernous amount of secure and lockable storage as well. This version is the optimum height for tying into the double drawer modules or the CampKitchen and Single Drawer Modules. These seat delete platforms will bolt directly to either side or both sides of the Ultimate Chef 80 System. 

Both seat delete platforms require either the side x side drawer module or a single drawer and LC80 Utility Cabinet to secure at the rear section of the seat delete. They are designed to work with the 8" tall modules only.

Available in 50% seat delete for the Passenger side and 50% for the drivers side you can run both and get a 100% seat delete. Both seat deletes require the 80 Series Plate System Version 2 and drawer or utility modules mentioned above.

Goose Gear Land Cruiser 80 Series Specific Side x Side Drawer Module

This module is designed specifically for the LC 80 and comes in 8" height only to work with optional items such as sleeping platforms and storage compartments.

Side x Side Modules are available in 50/50 split, 1/3-2/3 split and 2/3-1/3 split configurations. The 1/3-2/3 split have the smaller drawer on the left side of the module and the 2/3-1/3 split have the smaller drawer on the right side of the module.

This Land Cruiser Specific Module features a bullet lined top plate for increased durability as well as a location to mount additional items such as anchors for fridge and cooler straps etc. The top plate is slightly narrower than the drawer top to allow the addition of Wheel Well Wings. The Wheel Well Wings extend over the wheel wells and enclose the space between the module and the outside edge of the vehicle interior. This creates a flat surface that runs from wall to wall, seat back to back door. The hatch doors use Blum Euro hinges and mount to the side profile of the Side x Side Module. They are adjustable and also feature a quick release mechanism for easy removal.

Featuring 350# rated drawer guides with 34" of travel. We recommend no more than 100# per drawer. This module requires the LC80 Rear Plate system for proper installation.
